8 goals thriller in Dansoman

Joseph Painstil Football Club laboured to a 4-4 drawn game at the Carl Reindord park in Dansoman.

It was an emotional rollercoaster at the stadium as the game swung back and forth between the two sides. The visitors found themselves on the back foot early on, conceding two quick goals that had fans biting their nails. Just when it seemed like the match might be slipping away, Mishack Ayane stepped up and delivered a brilliant free-kick to pull his side back into contention. However, the home side refused to let up, extending their lead just 10 minutes before the break.

As the clock ticked toward halftime, Adamu Aminu provided a lifeline with a composed strike, reducing the deficit and sending his team into the locker room trailing narrowly, 3-2.

The second half saw the visitors mount a spirited response. Salim Adams connected perfectly with a precise cut-back from Mustapha Bunyaminu to level the scores, reigniting hope for a dramatic turnaround.

But the tension wasn’t over. In the 80th minute, a penalty awarded to the visitors restored their lead, setting the stage for a nail-biting finish. With seconds left on the clock, Samuel Ato Ayensu stepped up and converted another penalty after Salim Adams was brought down in the box, securing a thrilling 4-4 draw and sending the crowd home buzzing.
